Great teachers that are passionate about early childhood education

We have a stable teaching team who share both a passion for quality childcare and a joint philosophy that relationships are the key to children’s education and wellbeing.

Teachers are reflective practitioners, who have a focus on continuous improvement (both of the physical environment and the curriculum) in order to meet the children’s emerging interests and ideas. Our teachers work to nurture and promote the growth of a secure confident child who can communicate, participate, learn and work with others.

Teachers ensure that parents are welcome and that their knowledge and aspirations for their children are shared and acknowledged.

All of our full time teachers are registered.

Teacher selection

Teachers go through a rigorous selection process to work at our centre. While their selection is based on their unique idea diversity and the qualities that they would bring to the centre both individually and as part of the team, they must share our joint philosophy of how children learn.

Early childhood teachers

Our childcare centre is privileged to have qualified registered early childhood teachers who are passionate about early childhood education and care. Our teachers follow the guidelines of our national curriculum (Te Whariki) and keep up to date with current trends in early childhood education and theories.
